
OpenX.DBMail is a full-featured e-mail integration solution capable to collect email messages from POP3 server, send messages via SMTP server, extract and parse delimited email data using RDBMS to store messages. It also has an ability to retrieve message parts stored in the database, and combine it back into email message. It supports embedded images, multiple file attachments, import/export operations, various char sets, and different encoding schemes. OpenX.DBMail alone could be used as a back end engine to develop a complete, feature rich desktop or web-based e-mail application. Use of SQL compatible database such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase ASE, MySQL as a storage for e-mail messages provides high performance and reliability, especially when managing large volumes of corporate email.

OpenX.DBMail 1.0.2 was released by OpenX Technologies Inc. on Tuesday 17 December 2002. Its known requirements are : Native Database client.
OpenX.DBMail will run on Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP.
